The SPIKES series delves into the dynamic interplay between growth and retreat, exploring how the rise of each spike casts its shadow and influences the overall composition. As the spikes extend outward, their presence alters the visual balance, but as they recede, more of the underlying background is exposed, revealing the tension between expansion and surrender. Each piece is a spontaneous expression of this ongoing push and pull. This particular work is composed of 30 intricately 3D-printed resin plates, thoughtfully arranged and hand-painted to create a captivating visual dialogue.
