Memorial Set

Speechless. That's the first word that comes to mind when I think my experience with Kapla Art. Not only was I immediately drawn to the one of a kind, stunningly beautiful works of art that John creates, but I was drawn to the meaning behind why he created them to begin with. I was looking for something that perfectly represented my best friend of 11 years, Cleo, that wasn't generic because she wasn't. She was (and is) the most special being to me and I couldn't bring myself to have her final resting place be something that didn't perfectly represent her: captivating, unique, radiant, and above all, irreplaceable. I reached out to John and gave him a quick background of how we found each other and a little about who she was (that was much longer than I anticipated - sorry John). To my surprise, I got the most thoughtful reply that touched me deeply. He understood my pain and gave me the feeling of receiving the tightest, invisible hug through his words and that's when I knew that Cleo would be safe here. He sent me a video of the vessels he currently had to show me how the light reflected on and through the stones because pictures couldn't show that, and he was right. They were more beautiful than I imagined and I chose the one that felt the most like my Cleo. John sent me renders of how the engraved bottom would look and allowed me to make any adjustments to size and text until it was perfect. Once he was able to engrave it, I received my KaplaArt package about a week later. This vessel surpassed any and all of my expectations. I couldn't wait to transfer Cleo shortly after receiving this beautiful work of art because I wanted her to finally rest where she belonged. Thanks to John and his unbelievable craftsmanship, I now look at her and smile because I feel at peace. I feel at peace because this stone vessel does my girl justice. It is perfectly unique and beautiful and a work of art that I will always have on display for as long as I live. I am beyond grateful for John's creativity and heart to make something so stunningly special that I will cherish forever.

Purchasing our pet memorial from KAPLA Art was an excellent experience. Having four different stone urns to choose from was very positive. The Polished Onyx we choose is a beautiful vessel for the remembrance of our last two dogs. The quality of the stone and the patterning on the stone are exceptional. The buying experience was smooth and easy. The urn arrived when expected and came very well packaged. Overall a truly great way to provide lasting memories of the dogs we cherished in life.

The vessel for our baby boy was absolutely perfect. John did a great job with communication on everything for our vessel. We are already in the works to have another one made, and we will only continue to purchase from now on.

Just recently got one of these and I honestly couldn’t love it more. The vessel itself is absolutely beautiful — the stone makes it look like a piece of decor rather than something you feel like you need to tuck away. I love how different this is from the typical wooden boxes. Those always felt a little heavy and not something I wanted out on display. This is something you actually want to keep in your space. It blends in, while still honoring your pet in such a special way. It feels like a more peaceful, comforting way to keep them close, instead of something that reminds you of loss.

We had seen the beautiful vessels on the Kapla Art IG page and admired how unique they were and how beautiful the material showed. We just lost our beloved pup after 11 years and instantly knew this would be a great way to honor him. The piece was beautifully packed in a protective fabric bag and opening the box was a special experience. The care and dedication placed into these pieces is obvious. This piece means the world to us and we proudly display it by our Kapla Art etching of our beloved pup.

The craftmanship of the vessels is top notch and I have finally found something that I will keep around and looks beautiful as part of the decor. It's so nice to be able to have something that can be a conversation piece and compliment to the decor, but can also just sit quietly and allow me to think about the happy memories. This vessel feels like such a high honor to memorialize my late cat, Erwin. Subtle yet beautiful, the vessel rests prominently on one of our mantels. The vessel is large enough to hold both the remains and a couple small keepsakes allowing Erwin a few of his personal treasures with him in his final resting place.

Jaxy boy was such a shy but lovable boy. I miss him every day but I’m so glad to have him so close. His Jura Stone vessel is perfect. The engraving is beautiful and I love how cool the stone is. All the fossil bits make it interesting to look at. KAPLA Art did a great job and I highly recommend their vessels.

Saying goodbye to our baby girl, Luna, was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. She was with us for some major adulting milestones. I struggled to find the perfect way to honor her memory.
